Create an Italian pizza at home

This recipe for authentic Italian pizza is really easy. First, you will need to make sure that your yeast is active and this can be done by adding a little lukewarm water to a small bowl with your yeast. Let it rest for 5 minutes and if it bubbles and dissolves in the water, it is perfect.

With a spoon make a hollow in the center and start adding the water gradually. Next, combine all the flour with the dissolved yeast along with the sugar. Mix it thoroughly and add 2 spoonfuls of olive oil and a teaspoon of salt. Then continue mixing it. You will now need to knead the dough with your hands until it becomes sticky and elastic.

Once the dough is consistent right through, transfer it to a large, lightly oiled bowl and cover this with some saran wrap and a large (but clean) kitchen towel. Place your bowl in a warm and dry area and allow it to rise for 15 minutes. Once you mould the dough as it is shown in the video, put it in the bowl and let it ferment for 24 hours in the fridge.

To bake
